Under/Over, Btts, Asian Handicap bets explanation

You may have noticed that there are different kinds of bets, not only the simple one where you bet on the winner of the match. Sometimes these bets are the best ones to bet on, and our oddsmatcher will show them. Let’s take a look at them so you can also start using them.

You can usually find the odds for these bets by clicking on the match or on the + sign next to a match.

Correct score

You can bet on the exact result of a match: 0-0, 1-0, 0-1 etc.

Over/Under

You can bet on how many goals will be scored during a game, Under or Over a number. For example Under or Over 2.5 goals. If you bet Under 2.5 and the match finishes 1-1 you win the bet because the sum of the goals is 2. However if the result of the match is 2-1, the sum is 3, and you have lost your bet.

Tip: Betting on 0-0 and Under 0.5 is the same thing: check both the odds to see if one of them is more convenient.

Halftime score

As you can bet on the final result of a match, you can also bet on the score at the end of the first half.

Halftime total

You can bet on the number of goals during only half time. So you will bet Under or Over one number, and at the end of the first half you will see if you lose or win regardless of whether they score more goals in the second half or not

Halftime/Full time

You are placing two bets combined, the winner of the first half and the winner of the game

Handicap betting

There are different kinds of handicap bets, let’s check them all.

3-way handicap bet

In this bet, you will bet on a result that will be different from the real one. In fact, you will add some goal to the final score and then you will determine the winner.

Example:

The handicap for the match Chelsea-Liverpool are indicated as follows:

Chelsea -1

Draw

Liverpool +1

It means that you will need to add a goal to Liverpool (or take one from Chelsea) and then determine the result. So if the real game finishes 1-0 for Chelsea the outcome of the bet is a draw.

No draw handicap

This handicap is decimal (0.5, 1.5, -0.5) and also has to be added to the final result of the match. This way, a draw is not possible anymore.

Example:

Tottenham-West Ham with -0.5 handicap on Tottenham. If we bet on Tottenham to win and the match finishes 2-1, the result turns into 1.5-1, and we still win the bet. However, if the game finishes 1-1, the result turns into 0.5-1, and we lose the bet.

Asian handicap

The Asian handicap is similar to the normal one. The only difference is that if the match result after you add the handicap is a draw you don’t lose or win money, you just get your stake back.

Asian handicap can also be split. Two handicaps will be indicated (for example 1 and 1.5), your bet will be split in half as you were betting two single handicaps.

Btts: Both teams to score

This bet answers a simple question: will both team score or not?

DnB: draw no bet

Draw No Bet removes the option of a draw from a bet and allows bettors to bet on either a home or away win.

If your selection is successful your bet will win. If the contest ends in a draw, your stake will be returned, meaning you neither win or lose. You will lose your bet if the team you backed is defeated.
